Do you accept insurance?

2B Psychological Services accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield.  We will submit the claim on your behalf and then you will be responsible for what is not covered.  Upon request, documentation can be provided for clients who wish to seek out-of-network reimbursement through their insurance provider. 

What are your fees?

Session fees vary depending on the type and length of service. We are happy to discuss current rates during your initial consultation to ensure clarity and transparency before beginning treatment.

What ages do you work with?

We provide therapy for adults, adolescents and children over 5 years of age. Services are tailored to meet the developmental and emotional needs of each age group.

How long are sessions?

Standard sessions are typically 45–50 minutes. Extended sessions may be available when clinically appropriate.

How often will we meet?

Most clients begin with weekly sessions to build consistency and momentum. Frequency may be adjusted over time based on your goals and progress. 

What is your approach to therapy?

Different approaches work for different clients.  Most clients benefit from a combination of several different modalities.  If we find we are not achieving the goals during our sessions, we can adjust accordingly. ​

What can I expect in the first session?

The initial session is focused on understanding your concerns, gathering relevant background information, and discussing your goals for therapy. It is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and determine whether the practice feels like a good fit.

Do you offer virtual sessions?

 Yes, Telehealth services are available for clients who prefer the convenience and accessibility of remote sessions. 

Is therapy confidential?

Yes. Confidentiality is a fundamental part of the therapeutic process. How much will my insurance cover?

That is a question for your insurance company.  Every plan is different.  We are happy to submit claims on your behalf but communication about coverage will be directly with them.
